ViaDirect equips Les Terrasses du Port center
Located in Marseille, the new shopping mall “Les Terrasses du Port” (Hammerson) has chosen ViaDirect for the wayfinding and information solution.
Established in the largest business district of Southern Europe, Euroméditerranée, this huge building with a sea view gathers more than 190 shops and restaurants, on 4 levels and 61 000m².
The ViaDirect software was customized for this mall in order to propose special features:
- Registration to the newsletter
- Consultation of gift card points
- Real-time display of the traffic
- Real-time display of transport travel times
The other standard features of ViaDirect are deployed:

3D environment with a multi-floor view
- Multitouch map of the mall
- Display of offers and news
- Web services connection for the data
- Animated user interface
The installation is composed of 9 multitouch kiosks and of 1 solution inserted in the reception desk; an iPad is also available for the consultation of partners’ websites (Facebook page of “Terrasses du Port”, tourist office, Météo France, etc.) and a 46’’ dynamic display screen broadcasts the mall’s news. Kiosks, which combine a metallic frame and table legs in solid wood, have been designed by Saguez & Partners and produced by ViaDirect.
ViaDirect will equip Hammerson‘s malls in France in 2013-2014. The shopping malls Italie Deux, Place des Halles, Espace Saint-Quentin et O’Parinor have already been equipped.
