THE SHOPPING MALL "QWARTZ" (ALTAREA) EQUIPPED WITH 12 WAYFINDING, INFORMATION AND LOYALTY MULTI TOUCH KIOSKS

ViaDirect equips Qwartz center
Located in Villeneuve-la-Garenne (92), the new shopping mall “Qwartz” will open on the 9th of April 2014. This huge shopping mall of 86 000m² will gather more than 185 shops and restaurants, such as a Carrefour hypermarket, Primark, and Mark & Spencer. This is the first French shopping mall to put in place such a huge digitalization.
Altarea-Cogedim group chose the ViaDirect multitouch installation to equip the shopping mall for information, wayfinding, and the loyalty program.
The group has entrusted ViaDirect with the complete implementation of the solution: kiosks implementation and design, hardware integration, software, and maintenance. This offer was proposed regarding the need for digitalization. The ViaDirect registered trademark has been designed to answer to the diversity of multitouch use in shopping malls.
ViaDirect deployed 12 kiosks for Qwartz: 5 “Trombone” double-screen kiosks and 2 kiosks inserted in the reception desk.
The “Trombone” kiosk has been designed and produced by ViaDirect, and is composed of:
- A 40’’ multi touch screen with a wayfinding software specially created for Quartz.
- A 22’’ multi touch screen with a loyalty program created by Altarea (maintenance delivered by ViaDirect)
- An NFC reader
- A barcode reader is compatible with mobile phone screens.
The 5 double-screen kiosks were customized for this mall, to be able to receive 200 loyalty cards that users can have once they have accomplished their inscription on the screens.
The solution, composed of software integration and high-level systems and networks, offers notable safety and availability.
Altarea has entrusted ViaDirect with facilities management and maintenance of the loyalty program to benefit from monitoring and intervention tools developed to manage the hundreds of screens we produce.
