The INSEP has installed the ViaDirect wayfinding solution within its sports complex with indoor and outdoor kiosks

The National Institute for Sport and Performance Expertise (INSEP) is a French establishment located in the 12th arrondissement of París, in the Bois de Vincennes.

Created in 1975, it has become the complex for high-level sportsmen and women, combining numerous study areas and sports facilities over a 28-hectare area.

It thus enables the elite of French sport to reconcile sport and study in an environment adapted to their success.

El INSEP also has professional, medical and catering facilities, as well as accommodation, where a large number of boarders reside.

This sports complex contributes to the protection of athletes’ health and the preservation of sports ethics, while participating in the national policy for the development of high-level sports activities.

With its large number of disciplines, the INSEP is a source of medals for French sport.

In order to facilitate the life of its residents and members, the INSEP has therefore set up ViaDirect wayfinding kiosks, in different models and at different locations in its complex.

ViaDirect has equipped the sports and school centre with 5 wayfinding and information kiosks, in the following models:
  • 3 indoor horizontal kiosks, gazelle model
  • 1 exterior horizontal kiosk, Infinitus Diamond model
  • 1 indoor vertical kiosk, Lollipop model

The ViaDirect software in wayfinding kiosks includes…
  • Search for any destination with a 3D map display
  • Search by sector, type of activity and building
  • Information on transport services in the area, in real time
  • Destination search by name
  • Shortcut button to practical services (reception, restaurant, toilet, health centre, etc.)
  • A page dedicated to INSEP’s social networks.
